2021 Guangzhou 95 and 98 games (Whats the difference)

Well, let me tell you, I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout this thing, this Guangzhou 95 and 98 games, or somethin’ like that. Sounds fancy, don’t it? But I got to thinkin’, what in the Sam Hill is all this fuss about? Back in my day, we didn’t have no fancy games like that. We had sticks and stones, and we was happy!

Now, this here Guangzhou, it’s a big city, right? I heard it’s in China. Big place, that China. Lots of people. And these games, they’re like, sports, I reckon? Like when young folks run around and kick a ball, or somethin’. In 2021, it must be somethin’. Must be a big deal if they’re still talkin’ ’bout it. Guangzhou in 2021, big year, maybe?

• They got these games, like, Guangzhou 95. What’s that mean? 95 somethin’, I don’t know.
• Then there’s this Guangzhou 98. Another number. They sure love numbers in these games.
• It’s all about that Chinese Super League, that’s what they call it. Sounds important.

I heard some talk ’bout somethin’ called a “racket.” Now, we used to have rackets back home, but those was for swatting flies, not playing no games! These young folks today, they use these rackets for hittin’ a ball, I guess. This one, called Yonex Ezone 98 2022. See? More numbers! Sounds like somethin’ out of a space movie. They say it’s the 7th generation, like it’s some kinda family or somethin’. Must be a good racket if they keep makin’ new ones, huh?

They say this here Ezone 98, it’s different from the Ezone 100. Like, how different can they be? They’re both rackets, ain’t they? Maybe one’s bigger, or smaller, or somethin’. These young people, they got all these fancy words for things that are basically the same. Back in my day, a racket was a racket! Choose a right racket is important. But how to choose? I don’t know.

Then they got these teams, like, Guangzhou Loong Lions. Sounds fierce, don’t it? Loong Lions. Like somethin’ out of a storybook. They play in this Chinese Basketball Association. They play a lot, these Loong Lions. 23 wins and 15 losses, that’s what I heard. Sounds like they win more than they lose. That’s good, I reckon.

• They play in somethin’ called the Chinese Basketball Association. Big league, I guess.
• They won 23 games and lost 15. That’s a lot of games.

This whole Guangzhou in 2021, it was a big year for sports, I guess. They played against some other teams, like Beijing Guoan. They played ’em twice, I think. Won one, lost one. Then they played Shenzhen FC. Lost that one. It’s a tough game, this sports business. You win some, you lose some, they say. Guangzhou games in 2021, some win, some lose. Just like life.

This Windows 95 and Windows 98, well, they ain’t got nothin’ to do with these games, really. It’s just somethin’ else I heard folks talkin’ ’bout. Computers, or somethin’. They say Windows 98 is better than Windows 95. Has somethin’ called a “Start” menu. And USB, whatever that is. Sounds like a bunch of mumbo jumbo to me. Windows 95 is on MS-DOS 7.0, and Windows 98 is on MS-DOS 7.1. MS-DOS? I don’t know. Too many words.

But I guess it’s important to these young folks. They say Windows 98 don’t get no more support. Like it’s an old person that needs help! Ended in 2002, they say. Long time ago. Time sure does fly, don’t it?

So, this Guangzhou 95 and 98 games, it’s all a bit of a mystery to me. But it sounds like it was a big deal in 2021. Lots of runnin’ around, hittin’ balls, winnin’ and losin’. Just like life, I reckon. Just like life. These 2021 Guangzhou games, maybe they’re important to some folks. Not to me, though. I got my garden to tend to. That’s important to me.

These young people and their games. They sure do love their sports. I guess it keeps ’em busy. And that’s somethin’, ain’t it? Keeps ’em outta trouble, maybe. So, there you have it.
