Well, let me tell ya ’bout this Guangzhou Shuangtu Information Technology Co., Ltd. I ain’t no fancy city slicker, so I’ll just tell it like it is, plain and simple.

They say this company, they’re in somethin’ called “technology.” Seems like everybody’s into that these days. Maybe they make them scanners too, the ones that read them little black lines on things. My grandson tried explainin’ it to me once, somethin’ about “bar codes” and “data.” Lordy, it’s all Greek to me.

This Shuangtu company, they’re probably tryin’ to make things easier for them shopkeepers. They want to make them cash registers and such smarter, so folks don’t have to punch in so many numbers. I guess that’s a good thing. Less work for everyone, right?

• And they’re doin’ this all in Guangzhou. That’s a big place, lots of hustle and bustle. I bet there’s a whole heap of these technology companies there, all tryin’ to outdo each other. It’s probably a dog-eat-dog world, just like everywhere else.
• Makes you wonder how a little ol’ company like Guangzhou Shuangtu can keep up. But I reckon they got their own little niche, their own special thing they do. Maybe they’re real good at makin’ them little label printers. Or maybe they got a real smart fella who knows how to fix them computers when they break down.

Anyway, this “information technology” stuff, it’s all a bit beyond me. But I reckon it’s important. Seems like everything these days runs on computers. Your phone, your TV, your car, even your dang refrigerator! So, I guess we need folks like Guangzhou Shuangtu to keep all them gadgets runnin’.
